Excellence in Communication Program #2
"Designing the Future" Program - 2009 / 2010 |
With the aim of becoming an Excellence Cent in communications, in 2008 BIE has designed the Excellence in Communication Program. Last year the first one was built around the “World View” context . This year, BIE brings the leading names of their sector - business, art, popular culture, sport, science world and art of living - together in the Excellence in Communication Program under the title of “Designing the Future”.
The speakers of the program are;

| BIE Meetings |
BIE welcomes many leading names of their sector - business, art, popular culture, sport, science world and art of living - at the “BIE Meetings”.
The first guest of the BIE Meetings was Ertuğrul Özkök, the Editor-in-Chief of Hürriyet Daily on 19th November 2009. At the night attended by many people from business and academy world, Mr. Özkök evaluated the last 25 years by explaining the relation between the politics and media in Turkey.
Another guest of the BIE Meetings was Ali Poyrazoğlu, the Theater Artist and Director. At the second BIE Meeting held on 27th January 2010, Mr. Poyrazoğlu talked about “The Person Making a Difference”. In his speech, Mr. Poyrazoğlu stated that creative thinking could only be achieved by freeing one’s mind and returning to the source of information.

| Esthetic Seminars |
At the “Esthetic Seminars”, Dücane Cündioğlu and Üstün Barışta explained the esthetic concept in all aspects on 15th April 2009 – 24th June 2009.
Two prominant people of the Turkish thought world, Dücane Cündioğlu and Üstün Barışta, talked about the esthetic concept available in all fields of life.
The esthetic concept, a matter of dispute since the existence of the human being, has been reevaluated with its past and present by Mr. Cündioğlu and Mr. Barışta.
The admission fee to the seminars held at 18:00-20:00 on Wednesdays at the conference room of the Bersay Communications Institute was TL 20 for each seminar.

| Professionalism in Communication Program 2008 |

The Professionalism in Communication Program was designed to train qualified people in the communications sector through 24 compact courses which were delivered by the “trainers” team of the Bersay Communication Group, known as a “school” in the sector. The team was made up of Ali Murat Vural, Arın Saydam, Ayşegül Meriç, Aylin Taşkıner, Zeynep Özbil, Zeynep Çalıştıran, Ela Tamkan, Gamze Koçer, Elif Sözer, Ertan Acar, Murat Avalin, Ali Gizer, Ozan Özkan, Kerem Türkman, İbrahim Uslu, Ferhal Şencan, Mine Türkün, Gül Mumcu Mutlay, Cengiz Cemri, Cemil Basa, Nihal Şirin, Selin Bozkurt, Elvan Oktar and Ali Saydam, who are well acquainted with the communications world and worthy of attention with their performance as trainers. |

The “Excellence in Communication Program” organized by BIE based on the CO-OP Education Model applied by the Bahçeşehir University with the slogan of “My Campus is My Office” was given as a selective course at the university in 2009 Fall Semester.
